Got a call. Didn't answer. No message. Blocked number

Voice simulator left threatening message regarding potentially violent intervention due delinquent government debts.

This guy called today stating he is a contractor and wants to give me a free estimate for home repairs. When I stated that I do not need any work done he began to argue with me and became very obnoxious. Don't answer this call!

My wife answered the phone because of the toll free number. Thought it might be important. Woman said her husband had a construction company and do we need any work done? My wife just said no thanks and hung up. After reading these posts I see it's a scam number. I thought it was odd that some construction company would have a toll free number.

Left a message stating that they have legal documents filed against me that need my signature, that she would show up at my house on Monday 8/29 to obtain it. If I didn't cooperate then she would contact my employer to obtain there signature, if not, then they would continue with the legal proceedings and law suit. No accent from this caller and she sounded extremely professional. If I didn't know better, I would have been shaking in my boots and even then it sends a chill down my spine.

My concern is if I let the answering machine pick it up they then know it's a valid number and sell to others...

Call from the fake IRS that I owed taxes and to call them to pay up and not get sued.

Called landline; no msg. Fake number. CID shows 800 Service.BLOCKED

Local contractor looking for work..didnt know where local was...maybe Orange County, CA. or maybe San Fernando Valley...scam.
