No call, just junk mail with this phone number. "AVC Vacations" saying I won a Mercedes (or a BMW, or a Porsche, or $40000 cash, or a cruise).What part of the opt out telephone / unsolicited mail do these jerks not understand?

I received a letter stating I had won a Royal Carribean cruise, mercedes,$49,000 or a Vegas trip for two and all the fun I can stand. Just had to call 1-800-327-4614. Glad I looked AVC up on computer first. Didn't call but prob. the same scam.

Letter from AVC Travel Disbursment Division 2400 W. Pioneer Pkwy Suite 210 , Arlington, Tex 76013..(empty shopping mini mall at this location).1-888-261-2595 is their call back to claim your Mercedes, your travel voucher on a Royal Carribean cruise...plus an extra travel voucher to Las Vegas (air fare-accommodations for two)..sounds like a time share gimmick,,which I went on to Disneyworld, Florida..(at Old Town..Kissimmee) years ago..I had made my pre arrangements to my room, etc but I showed up at the scammers office with the police and my letter..this letter promised me free great prizes to attend a 2-3 hour or so seminar ,a sales pitch on time share condos, but I didn't get anywhere close to what the letter said I would get for attending their seminar, I did get a free room for four days and free tickets to Disneyworld for 4 people for 4 days,,I got free transportation from the condo to the theme parks...I went to the Kissimmee police department and showed them the letter..and that I had driven all the way down from Texas to get my free 10 day vacation to the Bahamas and Florida Keys plus spending cash on a boat cruise...they were very interested in the people that were sending these letters out..the company was somewhat legit, but never gave any hugh trips away to anyone,,just $100 for gas and 4 free meals at Outback. Company said they had sent me the letter out by mistake and that contest was for Florida state residents only..and that they had a drawing for the cruise..said prizes on the letter were printed incorrectly..anyway they paid for Disney tickets and let me and family stay in one of their plush condos for four days free............this won't happen very many times......

Same as the Lady From Texas. I am also from Texas. Great scam don't but into it. I call back to cancel the local appointment and the sales rep was very very hostel. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not call this company!

Got the cool looking letter. Totally misdirecting, no mention of condo, purchase, or anything other than "YOU WON" based on "entering a contest for a Mercedes Benz." Numnuts -- I'd never even take delivery of one of those for free...This is one of my 'scambuster' top sites!

I too received the 'You have WON' the new Mercedes Benz or Porsche Cayenne or $1500 shopping spree or 5-day/4-night Exotic Island Adventure ($806) value or $500 cash. Call 800-309-8853... It's a timeshare scam. Don't bother.
