scam! not verizon! said they were fios but I dont have fios.

Receive calls several times a day from 1888-423-0900 but no one answers. What's more annoying is that they call my cell phone. They don't leave messages either. I think it's spooky.

All these antics - repeatedly calling, spoofing caller ID, repeated e-mails, etc. etc. All this is typical Verizon - lying, egregious, illegal, barely legal, dishonest ("...I don't know if we called you - we didn't call you" etc.) harassing and annoying customers over relatively small amounts of bills that are only days old - doesn't surprise me at all. There's a department of Verizon calling themselves "Chase Collections", that tries, through various barely legal, illegal means, to collect old Verizon bills. One of their stupid tactics is to call "debtors" repeatedly, at all hours, and ask for someone they had to know doesn't exist. When this happened to me, I asked the woman calling what was the point of it. Her reply was succinct - "...go f**k yourself" (I am not making this up) Then, she hung up. I immediately called back, and told whoever answered (none of these people have names) that, if I ever had another call like that, I would immediately report them to the authorities. I followed up with a letter - Certified mail/Return Receipt - invoking the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (a Federal law) and stated that I wanted no further contact, and refusing to pay the bill. I have heard no further from them. BTW - this was all because of a cell phone bill for $140, that was 2 months old !

got a call...sounded exactly like a verizon robo call voice, saying i wasps due.checked my account and i actually have a credit on it. Although the call came exactly when the payment was due.

OK, I work for Verizon, this number belongs to a call center VZ outsources to, this company is for hire by Anyone so this number may show up from different companies all day long.

Verizon calling you - if you are 2 or more days "late" paying your outrageous bill. BTW 2 or more days beyond their artificial "deadline".

Verizon calling letting me know my bill is due/overdue. Know what, damn it---I AM LATE PAYING? Better call them back or my shyt gonna get cut off.........

I get more phone calls each day from unwanted calls - usually from overseas that make it appear as if they are state side. This number called twice and left no message.
