I got at least three calls today for a payment that is 10 days late!! Loyal customer for 10 years and this is what you get, Obviously they are hard up for money.
Called me 7 times last 2 days...when I call back I get a message about changing to Metro PCS..
Just got a call from this number saying its Verizon. Interesting thing is that anytime I've ever missed a due date with them I'd get a text message reminding me my bill is due, not a phone call. I've been having some recent issues with someone trying to scam me so I'm real skeptical that this is Verizon.
unavailable calling phone number mentioned, order to me press 1 or press 2?unavailable to press, I AM NOT CRAZY.
Computer call stating my Verizon bill is late- (it was paid early and in full) and if I do not make payment arrangementsmy service may be interrupted.
... You don't pay "them", you pay Verizon (who this is). It's easy, go to the Verizon web site, and pay Verizon.
Received several phone calls from this number which I ignored. Finally answered and they told me I had an overdue bill with Verizon. Hung up and called Verizon direct. /checked my account and I have NO overdue bill. It is a scam.
This numberis definitely, absolutely, 100% a fraud/scam caller. Do not answer this number if you see it on caller ID. Do NOT give out any personal information if you do answer. For those who stated in this thread that the caller is Verizon, you are wrong and you believed the lie that the scammer told you.Since there are so many posts stating that this really is Verizon, I will post more info than I normally do to refute that.First, this calls on my office line, which for some reason gets all of the credit card scam phone calls and other fraud calls like this scammer.Second, the caller ID lists only the number (888-423-0900). If it really was Verizon, the caller ID would show "Verizon". I have two land lines and DSL service from Verizon so I do get calls from them occasionally as call backs when I have to call for service and the caller ID always clearly shows the company name as "Verizon".Third, no message is left on my voice mail (since I never answer calls I do not recognize). When Verizon calls, they ALWAYS leave a voice message. Finally, for those who stated in this thread that the caller is Verizon trying to collect a bill, I do not owe any late or past due bills so, if this was really a collections call, it would have no reason to call me.This caller is 100% fraud.
