Caller ID says UNAVAILABLE. No voicemail left. Others here seem to think this is Verizon -- pretty dumb of a telecom company not to use its own services!

Got a robocall today saying that our Verizon account was past due for $120.00. Although my husband pays this bill, I was pretty sure we were current. Checked the unopened bill and we were current. Watch out

Sorry, John, but this is a scam. we got a call about $120.00 being past due, but our bill was current. This world is full of scammers now. It use to be, when I was younger, before the advent of over-technologicalization (I just made that up) we only had to deal with crank calls. Now the world is full of so much deception. This is what human beings seem to like to do to each other. Con each other, judge each other, and steal from each other. And so many say they believe in Christ , but they have no idea what this means, because they really do not understand what empathy is. It means really listening and really putting yourself in someone else's place. Trying to understand their story. Over-capitalization and Over-technologicalization are all that seems to matter. Ask our President-elect what he really cares about? Himself, that is all. A [***] wall? Maybe the Native-Americans should have built a wall to keep all us greedy Europeans out. It was a pristine, gorgeous land 400 years ago and now look what we have done to it.

Recorded message saying they were Verizon Wireless and gave my full name and cell phone number, saying it was urgent I contact them immediately about a problem. I called back twice at the number they gave 888.423.0900 send it rang for at least 20 rings. I then called Verizon who confirmed thus was NOT a verizon number and there was no oracle with my account. If there is a problem, Verizon contact you via email.. NOT by phone. It is a SCAM..
