Definitely CHASE. I disputed a charge they called from 224-699-6000 and they gave 888-489-8452 as the call back number. I called it was for sure CHASE.
Caller id said 847-426-9209; said she was from Chase regarding my dispute but not sure how she got my work number. I asked for her call back number & she gave me 888-489-8452. I called the regular Chase number & they said they didn't have any updated information on my dispute & they didn't have my work number on file; but when the information is updated I will receive a letter in the mail. So not sure what to think....
Claiming to be from Chase. Called a number Chase should not have. I called the main number and Chase knew nothing about the call.

Received a voicemail from this number. It sounded kind of sketchy, so I googled the number and came upon this thread. I do have a pending dispute with Chase, but since the thread is a mixed bag of responses, I called Chase directly. They didn't have a record of the call to me, nor did they have any updates on my dispute. HOWEVER, the confirmation email I received when I filed the dispute listed 888-489-8452 as the contact number, so I have no idea what to think.
I disputed charges several months ago and now I got this call today. Would make sense if she had referenced a) the case, b) that it was related to my chase account. Then it would not have sent me googling for details.
