Anon - You are WRONG! Chase contacts me via telephone, or by mail - depending on the situation.
888-489-8452 is a legit chase number. But something made me felt uncomfortable was they only knew my phone numbers and name, neither SS# or card#. They told me they don't have them and asked me for the complete numbers. It was strange and I rejected. I called card directly and they forward me back to the number..:)..... Chase Dispute Dept needs to upgrade they computer system to including more customer information.,
We had a Chase dispute and received a message to return call to 888-489-8452 and when my husband returned the call; they asked for our card number and they would call us right back. . They have my card number already so my husband said that is not going to happen. They insisted and he hung up. We called the Chase number on our statement & we were told that this IS NOT A CHASE PHONE NUMBER.
I received a call today from a number that did not show a caller ID on my cell and received a message saying to call Chase at this number. I called Chase's customer service line and found out that this IS in fact Chase's dispute line and not a scam phone number.
Voicemail said call was concerning a dispute on my CHASE card. I don't have a CHASE card, never have.
Got a call from this number and called back said they were chase dispute but needed my full credit card number. Told them I don't know them and I wasn't going to give it to them. I suggested they look the dispute up by phone number since they call my cell and got put on hold, so I hung up. Seemed like a scam and will wait to get the dispute letter instead of giving out info. over phone.
Got a call from 8009359935 saying something about a dispute. I did not pick up and it went to voicemail. I can not understand what the hell the b!tch wanted to say. Something about a dispute department collecting dolls for penguins. Whatever. The only thing I could understand was call us back at 8884898452. Called back that number and a Phillipino [***] who was still chewing her food picked up and said "Hello, what do you want?" MotherF-er! You called me you gook b!tch, and stop chewing your food so loud. The motherfukr b!tch said there was something wrong with my Capital One...then changed to Discover...then to Chase card. At that point, I just laughed and cursed her out. At the end of the call, the low life piece of [***] was so used to getting cursed out that she thanked me. I called the official Chase customer service line and they said they had no record of any calls and that the Phillipino b!tch was just phishing.

The voice message came from another county, didn't give a clear name for their business, why they were calling, nor address did they address me by name. So I'm assuming it was a spam pfishing expedition of some sort.
I called my corporate office this morning inquiring about a totally unrelated topic. The corporate office asked me if the best call back for me was 847-383-4985… obviously incorrect as my number begins with area code 214 located in Dallas, TX.
