Based on the numerous entries above, I am sure the call was from one of the industry magazines I subscribe to. They usually just confirm employer, title, and mailing address once a year. They seem to come in batches, one magazine, then the next a few days later the next magazine. The caller ID displays a misleading "800 Service" and they leave no message. Then I search the number, I find this site (thank you), and the next time I will answer the call and spend a minute with them so they will stop trying. The magazines are actually pretty good, otherwise I wouldn't put up with the annoyance.

Caller is for a subscription to Manufacturing Engineering magazine. The caller needed to update company information of which we didn't subscribed to, and told her to never call our number again and she hung up.

5 calls in an hour and 9 minutes. No message. "toll-free call" shows on Caller ID

888-514-2665 CallerID name "Not Available". A pleasant woman asked for the owner by first name only. I asked who was calling and the nature of her call. She said her name was Patricia. I asked what the call was regarding. She said OHSA Compliance services. I told her we had that covered, and she tried to get more information about our company, asking if we were a corporation. I replied that we have our OSHA compliance covered, and told her to have a nice day. Thank you, goodbye!

A gentleman called twice, asking for managers. He claimed not to be selling anything, that he didn't wish to become an approved vendor; he only wanted to impart information. I told him that was still considered a solicitation; therefore, he'd have to mail whatever it was. He was frustrated but couldn't fight Wall Street and gave up.

They are an actual company, they're super annoying though, always freaking calling to update a subscription. Some of the guys here just keep getting the magazines even though I've told them no countless times. It's a losing battle. So unless it's a certain Sales guy that works here (he's weird and always wants the free subscriptions), I just say no and hang up. I'm so tired of all these calls from scammy call centers or harassing business. Ugh. I have a spreadsheet of telemarketing/scammy call centers, tabs correspond to the first number in the area code, each one has like 50 numbers under it, then I have a tab for blocked calls that give me their business name and then a tab for blocked numbers that only give me a name.... adljal;fjasljaslkfjaslkfjasfasldkfj get a real job ya losers, the economy is good, there's no excuse unless you're just a moron low life.

I've been receiving calls from this number every day for the past week. I don't answer and they don't leave a message.

Getting about two calls a day from them - have not answered, and certainly will not based on what I read here! They are calling my business phone . . . .
