got a call @ 8:26a. no message.do not call list does not work. especially on cell phones!

I answered and it was a rep from DTE inquiring about customer satisfaction. But when I call the number back just to verify it was DTE, it didn't even ring.....

got call this morning. I am on the do not call list. what the hell is going on

Thanks guys. DTE makes sense as we had a power outage in our neighborhood two days ago and I left my cell number for them to text once repaired... which they did. Just didn't expect the followup customer satisfaction survey. This is a lot less nefarious then the usual 8** robocalls I've googled the number in the recent past.

Survey for DTE Energy. The caller read 8886899306. It asked you to do a customer service survey for DTE Energy

Got the same DTE survey VM from this number.

We had an outage. DTE called from this number to ensure the power was back and to additionally ask if there was anything else DTE could do better. I explained I was at work and really had no input. She thanked me very politely and that was the end of the conversation.

Got a call from them this morning. They just asked me if I was satisfied with the DTE service.

This is NOT DTE. The survey wants to get you to say yes or no on their recording. The caller never said she worked for DTE, she said I had experienced an outage last week, and “they” were conducting a survey re DTE service. I did not experience an outage last week, so when caller said all she needed was a “yes” or “no”, a red flag went up. I told her “not participating”, and asked why DTE didn’t show up on caller ID. She was very polite, thanked me, and hung up.

Missed a call from this number to my cell phone yesterday. I doubt it was actually DTE calling because no message was left and the CID did not give a company name, just the #.
