this is a very professional fraud scam!!!! The people work for this company don't even know they work for FRAUD company.

If you have a CHASE credit card, cancel it immediately. CHASE is a scam operation and a fraud. They will falsely claim "suspicious activity," cancel your credit card without prior warning, then turn you over to a collection agency even though your account is current. Also using 855-682-7046. Never NEVER sign up for anything with CHASE.

This is a scam number - received an email from them with this number and forwarded it to Chase. Chase confirmed it was a Phishing attack.Plus, who receiving this number would sign on and give some BS story about it not being a scam number other than a scammer.

Caller Type: Unknown Phone Number Report: I am beyond angry. SCAM ALERT SCAM ALERT!!!!! And I am trying to protect my 86 yr old dad from these scammers and almost ended up being taken in MYSELF. CHASE FRAUD DIVISION called me earlier from a differnt number to collect on s payment that was fraudulent originally. I was given an investigator's Number to call. It is 866-582-7130 extension 15867. I called it several weeks later and it sounded legit but it wouldn't accept the extension #! So they gave me this number to call. I'm an idiot. I called. Thank god I realized halfway thru. They even gave me another number to call. BUT COULD NOT PROVIDE ANY INFO ABOUT MY DADS PROBLEM!!! Nor the extension # I was previously given! SCAM SCAM SCAM

*SCAM* Just an update. I see that you all received phone calls while I actually just got a letter in the mail disguised as being from chase and asking to call the number as well. They listed a transaction that I had previously told chase was fraud saying that it would be applied to my account because I notified them it was valid. So somehow they are knowledgeable enough to find some somewhat real information, but being that it didn't make sense I checked my accounts and the chase website and did not call. BE CAREFUL AND ALWAYS REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR ACCOUNTS FIRST YOURSELF AND ONLY CALL A NUMBER DIRECTLY FROM THE CHASE WEBSITE OR THE BACK OF YOUR CREDIT CARD.

8888137092This number is a total scam and they work along side with other people to try and get you to call and give your credit card info.I called the real chase 1800 and they said that this was not a chase number 8888137092. They even called theirselves and said NOPE THAT IS NOT US... NOT CHASE!! Don't trust it!!! This number has actually operators working it not a machine.

Just wanted to confirm similar story of fraud attempt. Just got off phone with credit card services as listed on back of card, and this is not their number. Their voicemail and phone navigation system sounded professional and they even were trying to impersonate a fraud detection department, but it's a scam.

Like one of the previous folks, I got a letter in the mail. My letter thanked them for letting them know my credit card was stolen...10/12! I recall exactly that we fell victim to a computer virus/anti-virus scam on my wife's computer. Ended up putting in a credit card to "buy" virus protection that turned out to be a phony company in Russia. Chase reversed the charge, canceled the card and issued a new card. Now the scam rears its ugly head almost four years later, in letter form!

I contacted Chase Fraud Services at their 1800 number, and the representative gave me this number to contact a more specific department. So probably not a scam, but if you don't like this number, call the 1800 and have someone transfer you if you need to be transferred.

I called the number on the back of my Chase statement and 888-813-7092 is the number for their fraud department.
