888-888-8888 / 8888888888

Ok folks here is MY experience with this number. The caller ID states it is ALLIANCE Carpet. The message left is from a congressman running for election and his speal (sp?) now I ask you if you rec'd a call from a suspicous number such as this and it ID's as Alliance Carpet and YET a congressman runs his yap about his wanting to be elected or reelected would you vote for this crook ? IF this person can't EVEN BEGIN to be honest with a legit phone number and ID then why the hell would I vote for him? He obviously ISN'T getting my vote!! and is obviously a crooked politician !!!

you know, the phone companies know darn well who these pricks are. We should go after the phone co for hidding these pricks! Im getting them to, @ 10:pm,4:am, 6:am

What part of "NO ANSWER" do these idiots not understand? Why does the Phone company pull their plug?

I started getting calls fron this number several weeks ago

I have been getting these calls from 888-888-8888 lately and they do leave messages. For us, it has been candidates trying to get support for the election (primaries) coming up in our state in June of 2010. I believe they are pre-recorded messages and the number is one that apparently comes up as who is calling. I don't answer these calls, but it's good to know it's not been a scam or something.

I recieved 2 calls last night from 1(888)888-8888. One at 1:40am and one at 5:07am, I answered them half asleep, no one was there it was silent I said hello like 3 times and then they hung up. So I called it back from my work phone it said this number cant not be reached from my calling area. It was weird, so I googled it and it sent me to this site. So I am posting my story....

I got a call yesterday that I don't remember answering but my call timer says it lasted for 00:21 Seconds so I don't know wtf is going on... And when I call back I get the same error as Mr.B

I have been receiving calls from this number all week long. They call at least twice a day! I don't answer it because the number doesn't seem legit. When I call it back, there is no answer. Just a dial tone and then it hangs up on you! Who is this calling me?!?

Oh and it says it's from Alliance Carpet. O.o

The number is 1-888-888-8888!!!!!
