Yes!!!! They asked to fix my computer (I don't have a computer). I told this foreign guy that I was 14 and did not own a computer. He was sorry, but I never realized it was this #. (888 888 8888). I didn't look at the number when I answered.

i dont know who could he be but his accent sounded from india.the call was about a contest of winning 10,000 dollars and go to any city in the US.I KNOW THIS BECAUSE HE CALL ME 2X AND IANSWER AT THE 2ND TIME

March 27,2014 I got a call 10:15 A.M. this is the first one from this number. I heard that if you call a 888 number back that you will be hit with huge fees on your phone bill. I just do not answer the phone. Report it to do not call registry and the transportation and utilities commission

I got the call from 888-888. It was scary. They ask me to pay thire money back. The same -- Sounded like commotion ( lots of people talking in background) then foreign voice saying something.888-888 was the caller ID showed up on my cell phone.

So did I. He was Indian and said that I had a problem with my computer. I responded with what kind of computer do I have? "Windows" nope. Goodbye. I've been getting too many of these scam numbers and all I can do is block them. Wish there was a way to report them?

this number called me and instead of someone being on the other line, it rand and someone answered as if though i made the phone call?

Alliance Carpet shows up on my caller ID for 1-888-888-8888. It's always been an Indian voice. Male. Three times this week, three nights in a row, roughly 7:30pm. They talk over you. I told them the first time to put us on their do not call list, or I would be suing them for $500 for each subsequent call. They called the second night and I told them thanks for the $500 and next time, I'll be doubling the fee. They tried to tell me it wasn't them, but perhaps their too stupid to realize I have caller ID. He tried to argue and eventually hung up on me. I'm always very, very careful never to make any statements that sound like "yes" or "ok" or anything that could later be edited. Tonight they called again and I didn't let them get a word in. I told him they now owed me $1500 for the two calls and tomorrow night it will double again and that I was recording THEIR calls now. He hung up.Can't wait for tomorrow.. meantime, I'm working on getting my money and taking them down.

I think the 8's are repetitive. I keep getting phone calls from these people on my cell, and I don't answer obviously. I am tempted to answer sometime and threaten to sue them for disrupting me with useless calls under different numbers with a different amount of 8's. Not only does this number connect to my cell phone, but home land line. Get rid of it...the hit was referring to my computer
