Same story---caller with thick accent stating my computer IP showed up blinking red.

Login for (unintelligible) Asked several times still didn't understand. Argued with him a bit (indian accent) he finally told me thats where he was. Wanted me to go to his website (fat chance of that happening) When pressed for the supposed IP address that was flashing in red somewhere on their servers, he put me on hold then gave me 192.168.0.21 which is laughable since it is a wireless router IP and not something that gets broadcast on the web AND I change the 3rd octet on mine so there are no computers running on my LAN with that address ever. I told him the call was BS and not to call back ever.

I GOT A PHONE CALL FROM THIS HEAVILY ACCENTED MAN SAYING THAT MY COMPUTER HAD A VIRUS AND THAT HE COULD FIX IT MY COMPUTER DONT HAVE A VIRUS AND HOW DID HE EVEN KNOW I HAVE A COMPUTER ANYWAYS? HE SAID IT WOULD ONLY TAKE 2 MINUTES TO FIX IF I WOULD TURN ON MY PC AND OPEN THIS TECHNICAL PROGRAM HE RECOMMEND DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO THIS IS FROM

I ALSO TRIED TO CALL THE NUMBER BACK AND IT SAYS THIS NUMBER IN NOT IN SERVICEI COULD NOT IDITIFY THE CALLER OR THE COMPANY

Fellow with Asian accent said he was with Computer Technical Service and something about a virus. I hung up without getting any further info as it was obvious scam.

Ridiculous...such a blatant scam! First tell them to never call you again and then hang up immediately and report them to www.donotcall.gov

I had a call from login4speed on last week. The person who called me his accent was like indian. He said that some online infection was going on in your locality so they provided free check up call. I was agreed with him and followed the instrunction and after that they told me that some major problems i have in my computer so they charged me around 72 GBP . I knew that they told me lie but even though i felt that there service is too much good after getting their service My computer was very slow . Some working softwares was not open but now its working fine it works like a new one. So i believe that Login4speed is not a fraud company its very helpful company.

Just received a call....caller ID said Nova Scotia. I am in Southern California, didn't answer and no one left a message. Thank you for the heads up.

Just got a call from a woman with an Indian accent. My caller ID indicated 9025678434 from Nova Scotia. She mentioned that she was aware of problems with my computer and needed information in order to fix it. I told her that her requests sounded like a SCAM after which she immediately hung up without even saying goodbye.

When I received this call from Sydney, Nova Scotia today I was expecting a scam but I was surprised at the level of boldness from the caller. He was incredibly difficult to understand and, after asking for many things to be repeated, I told him I was not interested in continuing the call. What I was basically told was that my computer had a problem with the IP address and that I needed to immediately go turn it on so that he could help me fix it. DO NOT FOLLOW THE CALLERS DIRECTIONS!
