Kohls is a horrible creditor. They scam people by not sending invoices and letting the late fees soar before calling a debt collector to harass you. They prey on people who wait for the bill to come in the mail. Then they don't send you a bill till it is too late and Gotcha!

I get somewhere between 10-15 call per day for several weeks now from this number and about 5 others. They call several times in a row from different numbers starting at 8am till 9pm and they are all from Kohl's debt department.I wouldn't have a problem with this if I actually had a Kohl's card. I've never even stepped foot inside one of their stores. I've told them they have the wrong number, but they are relentless.

I, like most others here have bills paid up to date. So you must be a telemarketer worm.

Called twice today, no message left either time. Why not leave a message? I'm definitely not going to answer if I don't know who's calling & I won't call back if no message is left. Very irritating.

This number had called me and said that they were the IRS and that they were filing charges against me

It's Kohls because I'm behind on my payments and when I googled the number this was the first website that popped up. So it makes perfect sense.

Well I don't care if it's Kohl's or not. They call too much. I am paid up. We're all being scammed so much on the phone that every company, even if it's legit sales people will be shunned from now on. The scammers ruined it for ya Kohl's. Get off MY phone and go to hell. Blocked.

Repeating this here as well ... Kept repeating "Please call Kohl's Department Store 1-888-814-3555". The number on the caller ID is .. 'out of Area' and shows 1-903-593-8790.BOTH of these numbers are scams .. I do NOT have any Kohls near where I am at and NO Kohls account either .. I refuse to answer scammers and will be blocking this number

I work at Kohl's and I've been receiving calls from that number, too. When I answer I just hear weird noises and hungs up.

I also get calls at work from 9035938790 with caller ID "KOHLS CORP" several times a day, including Sunday. If I answer it is silence (or a bit of static).I called Kohl's at (as their web site says) "(855) 564-5705 (Please note this is a toll free 855 number and not an 800 number.)" but the choice was either about web site (ordering, etc) or credit cards, so I picked credit cards then `0' (zero) to speak with someone.I spoke with someone and explained I didn't have a Kohl's card and that I started receiving these calls (last week, Oct 6, 2013+) at work. He took the number calling me and my number (call-ed in telephone industry talk) and said he would handle it.After we hung up I got called from 262 704-9780 "KOHLS DEPT STORE" and a woman asked for Beverly someone (I don't have the correct name). I told her there was no such person here and this was a buisiness and I knew of no-one here named that.She said she would take the number off their call list.So before you go to the FCC, chances may be they got your number by someone reading a credit card app and either typing the applican'ts number incorrectly, or not being able to read what the applicant put down and guessing what number to enter. (Is that a 4 or a 9? is that a one with a serif `1' or a 7?) Call Kohl's directly using the number above or whatever number you find at kohls.com.
