Legitimate call from Citibank.I had just gotten off the phone with their customer service. They were calling back because they could not reactivate paper statements on my corporate credit card.

Phone call is legit. I called the number on the back of my card, and some low life had tried to make a purchase from Amazon.I canceled the card, and they are sending me a new one.

this number was Citi Bank master card fraud unit calling to check up on a suspected charge.I did not answer thinking it was a robocall but,When I got online at Citi it was an accurate reason for them to call.

Received a call from 9049541207 about fraudulent charges on my Macy's AMEX. Over the course of the call, they were able to bring up the $ amount of the lunch I had on that day, as well as the previous day (those being the only charges on the card other than the fraudulent ones). Before giving any personal information, I requested to call them back on the number behind my card. I called that number and a Macy's representative confirmed the same fraudulent charges and I continued my resolution through that call.It would appear the number is legitimate, but always call the number on the back of your card just to be sure before giving any personal information.

YES, it's legit. I will say that the VM left was hard to understand and sounded fishy, but when my work phone rang too, I thought it might be legit. They left no VM there. THEN I checked the info here (love you guys!). I got my Citi MC and called the number on the back (like Mark ^ said) and yes, someone had tried to use my card in NY and I'm in FL, so I'm getting it cancelled and reissued. So, if you're not sure, call the CC company yourself.

This number is legit. They were calling to warn me of possible fraudulent charges on my Macy's American Express card.

Called once and no message left. I don't know anyone at that #.

It's me again. I called the number back and it said to call CITI at a number they rattled off to fast. I went online and contacted Citi by phone and they said they had no accounts for me (which I already knew). She said it was a phishing call or a fraudulent call.

Called today on both our house phone and wife's cell to report fraudulent activity on one of her credit cards. There WAS fraudulent activity so the call was legit. Proceed cautiously but don't ignore.

Citi called to verify about Credit card that I added to Apple Pay.
