My wife got a call from this number and they left a message stating someone was trying to open a Citi mastercard under my name. They left a phone number to call (800-825-0393). I called that number and got someone with a foreign accent who kept asking for my social security number. SCAM! I hung up. The people on this page stating this is legit are probably the scammers.

Just received VM from this # - female caller said it was regarding "fraudulent activity" on my WAWA CARD? Tried to call number back -not taking calls? Message was slurred by young female, she spoke so quickly you could not understand her name or the number you were suppose to call back. Stated to have account information ready and reference code "in-audible" when calling.SCAMSCAMSCAMSCAM

It's a scam number... I ran it through a data base at my office ...

I received a legitimate call from this number. The caller said she was with Citi Costco Visa and left a message about possible early fraudulent activity. I called the NUMBER ON THE BACK ON MY CREDIT CARD, and Citi confirmed that they had indeed called me earlier.

I received two calls/1 message from this # 904.954.1207 claiming to be from Citi fraud department and advising that my card/account had fraudulent activities and that I should call back with reference # 1403 and have my account number on hand. The caller spoke very fast and the reference number he left was only four numbers which I thought was very odd. The public must be careful when receiving these kind of call.

I received a call from this number today saying I have a fraudulent charges on my citi card and that it's an early warning and to call the number at the back of my card. Although , I was approved for a costco-citicard yesterday my card of course is still on its way . I do believe this number 904-954-1207 is not legit and when I called that number just a while ago a guy answered " You have reached CITI " for assistance please call 1800-950-5114 and a woman ask you for the last four digit of your card number and or last 4 digits of your social security and then pretending to have a problem perhaps will eventually ask you for your full social security number I am 100% sure . This is a scam!

You are totally right I just have a call just today . For sure those people who said that these callers are legits are the SCAMMERS themselves .

They said they were with Exxon/Mobile credit card and to call back with a lengthy account number and reference code. Never had this card....

I received a call from this number. I did not answer as I did not recognize the number. I immediately searched the number and found all the comments about it being Citibank Fraud Dept., Macy's American Express Fraud Dept., and various other businesses, credit cards, etc. I contacted Citibank Fraud Dept., via a toll-free number, and was told that this number is NOT Citibank and it is a scam. The Fraud Dept. representative also assured me that Citibank will ALWAY leave a message if the call is not answered. Do not answer calls from this number and do not give the person on the other end any of your personal information.
