Don't say too much when you get calls like these! They tape your voice and try to use it towards their quota and can use your own voice against you (make it sound like they asked you something and use your taped voice for answers)

Bell has a block caller too, I have it

I had one of these services on the line and said "Sure I'll sign up." I then gave him the address for the Prime Minister's residence and I told him to ask for Laureen (as in Mrs. Stephen Harper).I would have left it at that except that at the end - which I thought was weird - the guy said that the phone call was being recorded. Then I confessed that it was all crap - to which he replied "I see, I see - you're wasting my time". I started to laugh and said "Well, your company has called my house at least once a week for the past 8 weeks despite our number being on the do not call list - don't you think you've wasted enough of my time for me to warrant wasting some of yours?"

Thanks for the info on who is making these calls. We have been getting them too, and I am using a solution that was recommended online for another crank caller who wouldn't stop calling, despite repeated requests, and reminders about the Do Not Call list.... I got a whistle at the local toy store. And I keep it by the phone. When he identifies himself as the 'Duct Cleaning guy', I ask him to hold on, and I grab the whistle and give it a good blow into the phone. I did that for the first time a few weeks ago, and didn't have any more calls from him until today. Eventually, I expect he'll get the message, and stop calling. Don't like to have to resort to this, but I've tried every other 'nice' way to get them to stop calling.

I always do the whistle thing. Must blow out their ear.I find it most effective.DNCL is a waste of time...the CRTC sells your number to these idiots AND if you report a number and it DOES go through the legal system, your telephone information is given directly yo the telemarketer, Wait till you see what they do once they know you complained and turned them in. Hang a whistle by the phone, Dollar store, cheap 0and worth the 50 cents.

this company keeps calling and they wont take us off their list. it is really getting annoying. I almost want to take a drive to toronto and give them a piece of my mind.

I continue to receive a call from 905-342-1223 every 2 weeks...I have been informed to press star 57 right after the call and the police will trace this number next time he calls....

They keep calling my house every few weeks for duct cleaning so I keep setting up fake appointments with them. I give them an address to a strip mall in my town and then on the day of the appointment they always call me asking for directions to my house. I just give them more fake info and send them all over town. Hilarious!!!

Has anyone received their service?

I have call display and simply do not answer if I do not recognize number. Voice mail tells caller to leave message and caller then hangs up.
