Got a call from 905 342 1223 at 3:48 PM. It was some Ali calling from Air duct cleaning service. They keep calling even after saying no many times. Really frustrated!!!
I have asked to be taken off their calling list but I continue to get calls daily/weekly. What can I do to stop future calls?
I have a Do Not Call Guy, and his name is Augie. Augie guarantees no more calls from a number once he's visited them. You might say that Augie make these guys an offer the can't refuse...he he. I like Augie's Do Not Call List, it's more permenant.
Look at that folks - 12 pages on this site full of complaints about only -1- number. And yet phone service providers (Bell, Rogers, et al) all throw up their hands, can't or won't forbid phone service to the individual(s) behind the company. (Follow the $$$.)The CRTC won't do anything since they are essentially toothless - and likes to pretend that this site and others like it do not exist. Your federal government won't do anything (Steven Harper? regulate business? Pulleeze!) and as a result, the police can't do anything.12 pages of complaints and the perp should long ago not only have had his phone services cut but should be sitting in jail. And do you really think this one # is the perp's only #? Yep, it's a fine, fine country we live in, folks! No???
Many calls from 905 342 1223 in really poor English and poor quality VoIP. Trying to sell duct cleaning. I usually repeat: who do you want to talk to / what is it about / where are you calling from - until they get fed up with me and hang up. I feel, well if they can waste my time then I can waste theirs.
I received repeated calls today, but was never disturbed. Fortunately my phone system, kicked them off the system with the message that the Number was out of Service, since this number is already on my black list.Just in case someone is interested in knowing how to achieve this level of scammer-free peace. Pick one or a combination of the following options:- Buy a phone like a Panasonic which enables you to create a Blocked Number List on the phone.- Else use a VOIP phone service, which usually provides numerous options to block such unwanted calls (besides so many other features). Moreover, such call blocking / management features are usually included for free in most VOIP services (which telcos like Bell or AT&T usually charge for extra)
