Have told these people several times to take us of the calling list. Obviously they have not complied. What can I do as a home owner with a good standing in all facilities for my home. What can I do to stop annoying phone calls at almost 9pm at night. I have children that I am getting ready for bed and want to spend UN-interrupted time with them?
I answered the phone and there was silence for a couple of seconds, and then a computerized voice said the following: " You are currently the only caller in the conference.". And then there was silence again so I hung up. They also called yesterday from the same number.
Have received only one call from this number. I make a point of never answering a long distance call unless the number is in my contact list. My theory is, if the call is important they will leave a message. Messages are never left (I have voice mail not an answering machine) so conclude they must be telemarketing calls. I rarely get repeat calls from the same number and have not had a repeat call from this number.
I ignore this number when it I see it on my call display. Caller calls often, like sometimes almost every day. Caller has been abusing a lot of people it appears from the list of other complainers I've read on his/her number. Too bad a button hasn't been invented that can be pressed on the receiver's end that could send a power surge to burn out the electronics of the annoying repeat-caller's phone.
These fools are completely incompetent, does anyone actually accept their offer? They call almost weekly here in Collingwood, over two hours away! They have called 3 times asking for my father who died last month.. every time i tell them that he's dead and to stop calling they call again asking for him. It doesn't help the situation. Inconsiderate company.
This number has been reported to the RCMP, CIA, FBI, INTERPOL and local Police forces because of the following reasons:- Organized crime (if they know you are not home, they can burglarize the home)- Terrorist related activities- Luring (luring children and misguiding the general public)- Illegal Financial Data intrusion- Illegal entry into various priviledged countries to carry on with their attrocities- Local Telcos, Operators ensuring they make money for call screening and other unwanted features- External interest in the priviledged country (get anyone in, regardless, using falsified documents)- Many others...the list is endless
Truth is 99.999 % of these calls originate in a foreign country and are routed here via skype or other vehicules. The CRTC have no juristriction in India, Phillipines, etc... The list originates by you placing your name on a "Do not Call" list which is regulated by the CRTC. If the guy in India doesn't read / understand ENGLISH that well, he uses your name as potential. There is no separate listing for call customer prospects. It was originalally Marvin Fink (of Canada) that set the ground rules. If Bell cut the Vendor off in Brampton, the move the virtual server to Scarborough. When the have exhausted all Bell quadrants, the move to Rogers, Fido, Kudo, Public, etc... Now after this 7 - 8 year period, they ar ready to go back to bell and maybe even move to a 613 or 514 and strick a Long Distance deal with the client hungery provider. Get the picture yet?
