You know, I found something strange. I am from Vancouver and it appeared recently as one of the designated sites. I thought I was losing my eyesight as today, for the life of me, I could not get Vancouver area to now show up. I have been pretty close to siging up and now i don't see Vancouver? I better check again.

I am enrolled in the course. I just did there in class part of the course on satuday. I am still waiting for my marks from the home session. My next step is the test then the interview. I will let you know if this happens. I am advised I should be interviewed in at least 1 month from now.

I wish I could show you my pay check but that would be very stupid as I would be showing it to a bunch of people I don't know. Would you show your personal information to strangers who hated you? All I will tell you is that they pay me what they said they would when I started the course and I am very happy with it! It does not matter to me that you do not believe it.Why don't you tell me your real name? What are you afraid of? You know mine, I'm not hiding behind a fake name so I can bash a company and be mean to it's employees. If what you say is the truth you shouldn't be afraid. Are you afraid that Haverhill will come after you for all your false claims if you revealed yourself?

I find it very unsettling that a hired Haverhill employee would comment in that way. I had hoped that they were looking to hire 'PROFESSIONAL' people. I will potentially have a high enough score to be able to apply for employment. Why would I want to work with or associate myself with someone who does not demonstrate professionalism when it comes to company matters? That in itself is enough to make me wonder...let alone all the negative comments by students. This site has become a wild fire out of control. It would be my opinion that a reputatble company would require that all of its employees refrain from participating in any of these blogs and leave it to their Public Relations people. Companies that I have been employed by have always had policies in place as to who is trained and qualified to speak on their behalf. Further more no matter what these students have commented on regardless of how ugly or unprofessional some may be it is still freedom of speech. I cannot believe that Haverhill has actually filed suite against students. Thus far my experience as a Haverhill student has been very good, however the rest is to be determined!

Re: Pacheo (canadians_against_telemarketers@hotmail.com)My name is Rick Okada, I am the Executive Producer for the home-selling TV show HouseCapades and a Director for The Haverhill Institute of Staging. The above posting on 800 Notes was brought to my attention. In it, "Pacheo" goes on to recklessly slander and defame Haverhill with no reliability of facts whatsoever and I wish to vehemently refute his disgraceful, malicious rant, and bear light on the type of character that viciously maligns without proof. As anyone knows, telemarketing is a legitimate form of marketing to reach out to prospects and we comply with all regulations for doing so. Pacheo seems to think that just because he doesn't like telemarketing, he somehow has the right to slander our business.Haverhill is a legitimate business, we back up every claim we make and will unfailingly stand up to the most scrutinous eye. We stand proud of our unique and innovative business, operate openly and transparently and invite anyone to thoroughly investigate us at anytime.I doubt "Pacheo" could do the same. If we knew who he truly was, it wouldn't be surprising if we found him to be an unemployed, jealous, instigating trouble maker with nothing to lose. If the reverse were true, he would provide his credentials to give his rant some credibility. But he can't. And even if he had a legitimate beef with us, why not contact us directly? Rather, he posts mis-information and incites people to harass and defraud us.Unfortunately, the Internet and websites like this provide (temporary) veils of anonymity for malicious people like Pacheo to hide behind. What’s not surprising is that he does not provide his real name lest he be taken to task for his unwarranted, false and derogatory claims he could never support. I suppose anyone will say anything if they need not worry about being held accountable for their words. Maybe he’s just a competitor of ours..?I invite any response to this posting and will endeavour to reply to all legitimate queries.Yours truly,The Haverhill Institute of Staging & DesignRick OkadaDirector

Good point. I would hope anyone going into it would have the right intentions but if you dont pass the course, then you don't get the certificate; one has to be certified don't they? Prove credentials in order to get work, even elsewhere? Has anyone had the experience of it not working out for one reason or the other and had their money returned? Seems to be complaints, not hearing, not getting back marks, not hearing, waiting for an interview, can we trust our money back if things don't work ouT??

Call received at 09:43 a.m. on Wednesday, 18 December 2024. No caller identifier was given, so I let the answering machine pick up. No message was left. The call originated in Calgary, AB.
It’s a number verifying that you changed your voicemail code. Not anything bad.
