my grade? or someone elses? my grade overall for the entire course was 74%. 20/30 on the test, which is passing, and 54 on the assignments. but this is part of my dispute with them.i did pass. i got my piece of paper in a frame that says i passed. there are many who pass. but pass with less than 80%. this is what most have complained about.
MK, don't worry about frenchami, that is another hh employee. i am sure. just as they are sure none of us were good enough to get that passing mark. thanks for all your info.and a class action suit is not that hard. besides, i am not afraid to take that chance since i am that confident about proving what i say. i fight for what i believe is right. i always have. and besides, just like winning from a big company and having to chase them down for the settlement, it would be the same if i decided to be the main plaintiff. why, because i have no money. i would have to declare bankruptcy. so, as they say, getting blood from a stone....if the plaintiffs were a group of students that can prove without a doubt that hh is in the wrong (and that is very easy to do) then the lawyer takes anywhere from 40 to 60% of the winnings. so, for the lawyer to get their money, we would have to get ours. this is not a big company like ford or gm or pepsi or mcdonalds, this is still a small company. it has to do with the number of employees that work for it. therefore, trying to make it seem like the students would never win, is another scare tactic, which hh thinks is a good way to stop any lawsuits.but some of us don't scare that easily. i have got nothing, and i mean nothing to lose!!! i don't own any property, home, vehicle, jewelry, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, rrsp, savings and i could go on and on.i am willing to place all my eggs in one basket that the students would win in a class action lawsuit.
oregano, you must think people on here are real idiots. i know that you can use the same trades people that are listed. i asked kimberly about it. she said that was fine and in some areas you might not have a choice but to use the same trades people. unless, once again, the rules have changed. i specifically asked her about that. you and hh keep stating it's an interview. it's not an interview. it is a request for more info. more info to determine whether or not i would use their company in the future. why do you call it an interview? this makes me think you are one of them, a hh employee.the reason this company that i am refering to doesn't want to sign and return the letter, is because they have been hounded by haverhill for several other students. no, they were not the first in the phone book or on canada411. again, i contacted many, so many companies. some hung up, some answered and agreed to provide the info. i also know that hh sends out the letter to ask them to sign it. i was making a comment and being sarcastic about it. like i am asking a parent to sign a permission slip. i know that hh sends out the letters to ask the people the student has used, whether as a trades company or as part of the 1st 3 lessons (staging). i have read the letter. my brother let me read it before he mailed it, since his home was used for lesson 2. i did do my work. i always do my work. i even asked questions before i started the lessons to be sure i completely understood everything. so, don't get all high and mighty about what YOU think you know about my situation. you don't. i haven't explained it all in details here. i don't need to, as most of the students understand exactly what i am speaking of since they are in a similar, if not the same position!like all those that have commented on spelling, like hh stated grammar and spelling errors will be marked. well, attention to detail, they lack. why do i say this. because on the lawsuit they have against me, they misspelled my name. can't even get that right. whether they did it or the lawyer did it, it's the little things that add up in the end.
fripouille, I am only going by what i read, not rumours or verbal things. the website says you can only use a tradesperson one time but that you can use any tradesperson in north america so it doesnt matter if you come from a small town.it is called an interview in the student area (faqs) so i called it that too.if they spelled your name wrong on the lawsuit its probably because you spelled your own name wrong when you signed up and thats what they had to go by. Fripouille, there's a disturbing consistency with you accusing people of working for haverhill when they disagree with you. if you dont like what i have to say then please dont reply to me.public forums are meant for open discussion and dialogue from all ideas and thoughts. when i look at this website, it doesnt say 'this is an anti-haverhill website so all your writings must agree with fripouille'enjoy your day.
oregano, i know how to spell my own name thank you! and believe me, i make a stink about it all the time, trying to get people to spell it correctly. as MK said, you should never assume. so don't assume i spelled my name wrong. most people do spell it wrong and i correct them. but after that i expect them to get it right.and the T & C have changed so much it doesn't matter at this point.
