I think I get this drift! Basically it IS LIKE having an interview like with any other job. Doesn't mean you'll get it. I guess I felt the ads misleading, the TV says guranteed employment, like what if a million people take it, pass it, they all going to get GURANTEED WORK? DID YOU GET YOUR MONEY BACK THEN?
I asked that same question: How can you promise jobs to everyone? They say most people dont apply for employment with them and for the ones that do, they only get hired if they meet their criteria and that if they arent hired they get all their money back. The $1,100 question is this: Has anyone completed the course, applied for employment, got refused a job and didnt get the refund???Can anyone confirm that? I's like to know. Thanks!
I completed Haverhill's course back in June 2008. I finished the course in 1 week, and never got my grades back until end of August, beginning of September. I have now called them three times and have argued with them to get my money back for two different reasons. I being... I was qualified to get hired, I had sent in my resume and everything as requested by my instructor and secondly, wanted to get my money back for falsely advertising that I would be accredited within two week. When I told the lady that I had already given my resume, she said that she had no record of it or the Tele-class that I completed. So now I am very frustrated, it just seems like a bunch of you know what. But the course was good.
this whole message board sounds like sour grapes. there's probably 2 or 3 people doing these postings and they all sound like they have a direct or indirect interest in the competition. Since when do women keep coming back to places like this to keep posting negative comments about a company they've never done business with. WE DONT. We have better things to do with our time.
Hey, Pacheco, I don't disagree with the main gist of your posting, but your parting shot -- "with names 'Morganstern' and 'Richler' - that about tells me all I need to know..." shows you to be an anti-Semitic scuzz-bag. If I've misunderstood what you meant here, you'd better clarify.
You just proved my point about how canadians have negative attitudes. lose the inferiority complex already, its boring.
I'm looking for answers before I enroll. Did anyone call you back yet? When did you last leave a message? What number are you calling??
Amy USA is right. Haverhill is putting together a highly professional staging/redesign staff. They're looking for energy, motivation, self-direction, a positive can-do attitude, substantial proof of successful work and exceptional communication skills. This is clear to anyone who does a little digging before signing up for their course. Taking six months to make a handful of phone calls and stage a couple of houses is not going to cut it with this company. Stagers need to be uber-resourceful, and are almost always under tremendous time pressure. Haverhill wants "get-it-done" people, for good reason.I won't speak to the communication abilities of the complainants, but I can certainly speak to their attitudes.
