Got a call from 1-905-561-1483 yesterday and today and when the phone is answered there is no response on the other end. When the number is called back it says it is not in service.

I received a call from this number today at 5:00 pm.I have had several calls recently where no one was there, but I am not sureif they are all from the same number.

I called 905-561-2259 and asked the rather pleasant sounding young lady to kindly remove my number from the rotation. Then I went and checked my number on the DNC list website, and sure enough, been there since Feb 2012. So I ALSO proceeded to lodge a complaint. I mean why the hell should i have to call and ask ANYBODY not to pester me at home with harassing calls, especially when I am on the National DNC list?

Despite being told on May 28th (see above) that I was being taken out of the system manually, I started receiving calls again today. I called them AGAIN and AGAIN I was told my number would be manually removed. I informed the lady that as I was on the national DNC list, and had no prior business relationship with them, nor had given anybody at their company to contact me, that I would be reporting each and every call received until such a time as they stop.

It is definitely Weed Man, I should know...I get 2 calls from them daily like clockwork, once in the afternoon and once in the evening. I have never been a customer of theirs nor have agreed to any services and since this nonstop harassment has begun I'd never be their customer.My number is registered on the National Do Not Call List since 2010, yet this company calls us anyway. I have repeatedly asked them politely to remove my number from the calling list. However, each time it's a different agent and they all say that they will do so. The calls haven't stopped yet.I have lodged a formal complaint with the CRTC. If this doesn't stop, I will be lodging a complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau.

Absolutely Ridiculous!!!I started typing the post above this right after I got off the phone with Weed Man. As soon as I finished typing the post above this, the phone rang and it was Weed Man. F***ING BU**S**T, excuse my language but this is just crazy!!A female agent was on this time, Keeping my calm I asked to speak to a manager and she informed me that all of them were in a meeting. I asked her not to lie to me as it's not her fault for this harassment. Bloody hell, all managers cant be in a meeting, so let me speak to them. She refused again, (think that they may have a gun on her head), but offered to take me off the list. Like that will ever happen!!She informed me that there are various agencies/subcontractors that represent Weed Man and as a result they all may call us at some point another. I really don't care much for explanations any more and want this to stop!!This company is being reported to the Better Business Bureau.

I've been havin the same issue. They keep calling and I keep tellin them to put me on the list. It's time I take it a step further. I'm starting a Facebook group and a twitter hashtag (#weedman) where I will tweet and update my status each time they call. I am also going to spread the word to my neighbors and friends about how annoying they are. Furthermore, I'm going to do some research as to how to take this further. I highly doubt The better business bureau does anything. From what I hear they are funded by businesses. Either way, this is all getting out of hand.

I just called the police services of Hamilton (905) 546-4925I suggest you guys do the same. Let them know of your situation so we can teach these people a lesson Business should not be conducted in such a way.

My calls from Weedman have now been stopped for close to a month...I had even gone in to file a complaint at the police station, also a complaint to the Better Business folks. My advise to all of you is to go into the office in person on Kenora Avenue ...Drop a few "F" bombs...That worked for me..Sure gets their attention. Miss Thing, the supervisor informed me that by law they have 30 days to remove your number after you tell them you want it removed...."It sure as F%$K didn,t take you 30 days to get it on there was my reply to that statement..Thinking back to it now, these calls started right after I let some young kid use that machine that takes the plugs out of the lawn..Angryman.
