Got a call from this number but no answer so I hung up.

Too Funny these calls..... I don't "EVER" answer area codes I don't know. If it's important or someone I know they will leave a message. If not then it was of NO importance. If " EVERYONE" did this all this crap would end. IF YOU DON'T RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER... DON'T ANSWER IT.

Yup i got a call too this morning, didn't recognize the number so i didn't answer.

I just received a call from this number. * 67 the number and it stated this number is not in service for incoming calls!!!!! I am in Houston, Texas. Same here, I do not answer area code numbers I do not recognize.....

Got another call from this number and decided to answer. (I know...what a waste of my time.)You get a recording telling you how they are able to reduce your IRS debt and on and on and on....IF this company is in any way legitimate, they need to change their recording to include the nameof their company and a number at which they can be reached. And, IF they are legitimate, whichI have much doubt, they should also provide a website, so interested persons could do some research before communicating with them.I put this down as SCAMMERS and will simply delete the call each time I receive it. I recommend everyone else consider doing the same.

i get calls all the time from these weird numbers. i got a separate line. only people i know can leave a message on my real number.

You must not be important enough to get calls from unknown numbers that could potentially be vendors, contractors, and/or employees/hands. When you work all over you get calls from all sorts of area codes.On the subject, just got a call from this number and nothing new from the rest of you. Not oil/gas related.

I was bored with nothing to do, so I stayed on the line and made up a whopper of a lie about my tax debt. I talked for half an hour sounding progressively worse to the dopey chic on the phone. I asked if she had my number to call me back, and she said that the call is simply forwarded to her blindly. So I kept my story up and told her it was hopeless and that she could not help me. I started wimpering and said I was going to end it all. Then I grabbed a big cookbook from the counter and told her to "hold on for a second". I put the phone on the counter and screamed "YOU [***], YOU WANT ME TO DIE! YOU WANT ME TO END IT! I WILL! I'M PULLING THE TRIGGER!" Then I slammed the cookbook on the counter next to the phone and dropped the receiver on the ground. After that I made gurgling sounds and groans. I think she hung up.
