They called me, too. However, when I answered the phone, they spoke in regards of lowering my IRS debt with a new Obama stimulus bill. Interesting thing to offer a seventeen-year old.
I own a company also, but I don't answer every call I receive from different area codes. Yes they could be new vendors and if they are they will leave a call back #. I know all of my current vendors and family #'s so I don't worry about it and answer every call I get. Doing this avoids the stupid people pulling scams and running up my phone bill.
We allow our fax machine to handle 'unknowns', not only because many times they ARE faxes, but also in hopes the autodialer will give up.Probably won't, but, hey.
I answered a call from this number and an automated voice said, "Hello. This is Sarah. I'm calling to talk to you about your back tax debt." At this point, I hung up.
They called, and I get calls from a lot of different customers from alot of different areas, so I answered. Junk call, no big deal, so I was going to hang up. Then the "end Call" button on my cell phone would not end the call. I turned it off. Anyone else gotten junk calls on their cell phone that they cannot hang up on? This is the third one ( from different numbers ) in the last few months.
The LAST thing we need is to be "taken care of" by ANY politician. Laws regulating unwanted phone calls can and are regularly ignored. Our best bet is technology that is readily available to individuals with more confidence in themselves than in government.
Whats weird.i got this call on my cell earlier today.i just got this number 4 days ago.then a while ago.i got same call on my house phone.i havnt given my cell out to no one but 6 people.so this number must be ringing everyones phone(house,cell)somehow.i didnt answer them.

Received a text from this number today about their colon kit. As always with these types of texts, I block the number without responding and report it ass spam.

I called Frontiers official phone number 1-800-921-8105, the agent I spoke to gave me this scammer number, they pretend to be frontier and offer a rebate and ask you to provide your bank account info to “send” the rebate. I hung up
