Those are terrorist cells trying to solicit you for your credit card numbers to fund their jihad. Looking at the number and state I'm probably sure they are as I don't know one soul out of the 4 states I lived in the US since I was a kid.
Just got the call. It only rang three times. When I picked up and said "hello", there was no response, so I figured it was a computerized call. My phone id only gave the telephone number. Glad I looked this up and can add this to my "do not answer" numbers.
Dustin DI hope you didn't fall for the oldest trick in the books. GIVE your credit card information over the phone to someone who called you--or any other information. I hope you contacted you credit card company and canceled itI did a reverse look up of this same number. The person claimed he was doing a survey (I don't do surveys either!!) and for taking part in the survey I'd get a free trip to ??? I hung up on him. Lets get real there IS no free lunch!
Received an automated message stating that I had been randomly selected to participate in a survey regarding "our nation's debt crisis." The recording said I would get a free cruise if I completed the survey. Scam.
Scam. Trying to get your credit card. Just called here. Three political questions, then transfer to an agent to give me award tickets after a gratuity charge...
Just got a call from this number, answered it. It was a taped message, I had been selected for a 30 second survey about the national debt. I would recieve a 2 day cruise, paying only the taxes & port fees. Press 1 to particpate, 9 to decline & have number removed from their list. I declined by pressing the number 9, hope my number is removed. Definitely a SCAM !
