Got a call from them ony cell saying they'd heard I was interested in making extra money working from home. That's the first sign of a scam. I said I wasn't sure how they got that idea and the lady replied I'd been researching their company (not true) and she started on her canned, cheesy pitch. I hung up.
This time they said they were from Global Fortune Network. Like most credit card and scam calls, they waited to greet me. And the woman on the line very rudely said "Hellooo??" I responded in kind, and when she told me who she represented, I hung up. Just another scam operation.
they have called several times but when I answer they hang up just like the rest of you are experiencing. I called back, heard the same message as you all did, how do I get my number off their list?
We are NOT behind in any bills. Pay our credit on time always. Yet, we had a phone call yesterday regarding this phone number. We never answered. I think it's some kind of scam since we are on the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL list. There are ways to seek remedie$ if that is abused and telemarketers still call acting as posers. Write down the details as they occur. Don't give out ANY personal information to these callers, or if they ask you to sign or promise anything Walk Away. The only way to prevent this is speak up folks!
I just got a call from these idiots. The jerk asked for my husband and I asked "who's calling". He said something about Global....and I asked if this was a sales call and he said "I said to get your husband"! (yelling at me!!!) I hung up on him. My husband called back only to get voicemail.
They just do not stop with the phone calls, The phone# 916-999-1240 name is A.Sullivan ....I have also registerd all my phones to the DNC list, what good does that do ??
Got a call from this number. The woman read a script and inserted my first name every two sentences and it sounded very fake. It was about a job opportunity opening up in my area and I could make $2000-$5000 a month for part time work. I kept asking what kind of job, and she kept on with the script! She would absolutely not answer my simple question. Then she said she needed to ask me a few questions "to be sure we're a good fit." (Gimme a break.) So I tried one more time to find out WHAT the job was first, and she gave me another runaround so I hung up. She's just hiding a scam. I am sure the next step would have been to get info on me, then tell me what a great "fit" I was, then tell me the "small fees" I would have to pay for my education to do the job or registration fee or who knows what they are thinking of these days. Can you tell I'm a little sour on these things by now? :)
