i get this call atleast once a week, when i answer, it just hang up.

Just received a call from this number.Picked the call and they hung up on me. Called back to reach an answering machine telling me "IF YOU MISSED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER, WE WERE CALLING ABOUT INFORMATION YOU REQUESTED.I requested no information from them.Morons at work, I suspect.

i recieved a call from this number as well. they asked me questions for about 30 seconds and then hung up. i called the number back only to get the voice mail of a no-name company. BOOOOOO

I got a call from 916 999 1240,9seconds hung up,I think I know who this is,he lives in Santa Clarita,Ca,Ive reported him to ppl and no reponse about this,This GUY is a menis to public networks.I dont think I wanna say his name on this.I think we are dealing with a psyco path.Someone who I can trust will have to contact me somehow.This guy is a facebook stalker also.He is my brother, I am afraid!! Sorry, Im a victim of his also.He has no soul.Im ashamed to say I am related to him! Ugh!!

got a call as well - called it and was told they were calling for information I had requested - the message is lame and you can hear the telemarketing pig slough in the background - it is a California number and most probably Sacramento - Good call on not answering these - did a reverse number search on ATT's anywho.com - nothing - did a google search and this site came up - Remain vigilant - these people are probably just another variety of the word "crook" - not implying, just saying

I don't usually answer calls when I don't recognize the number, I felt inclined to do so this time since they have been calling EVERY SINGLE DAY, except weekends. What do they want? So, I answered and they hung up on me. Needless to say I was a little perplexed...after all, they called me. Hmmmmmm....

Got a call from 916-999-1240; came across caller id as Sullivan and Ra. Did not answer. I've been reading previous posts from others in receipt of calls from these nuicances. Thanks for the info all whom have contributed. Maybe if there are more people offering posts to this website something may eventually happen to those bogus operators. Good luck to all!

I just received a call from 916-999-1240 asking for someone in this household. I told the caller that the person wasn't here and asked if I could take a message. The person said no and that she would call back later. I told her not to bother since she did not leave a message. She then said her name was Vernita (sp?) something of Global Fortune Network and she would call back later. I told her to take our number off their list. Before I could finish my last sentence she had already hung up.

I got few calls from this number, I didn't answer but I called them back, the answer machine said that I have asked for information when I didn't ask anything about information at all.

I get a bunch of these but no voice responses. I also get 8662139590 calling every other time.
