Calls from 918-468-2338, 901-365-0903, 706-226-2381 to my cell phone, all calls related to auto warranty expiring. Not interested and don't have a car that this would apply to, someone please stop them! I talked to a representative to get the name of his company, he gave me Auto Nations. I then asked for a phone number for his company and he hung up. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!
Got a call from this number on my cell phone. Since I have had problems, in the past, with people/companies wanting to use up my minutes. . . I opted to have voice mail removed from the cell phone. Since the caller ID shows the number, I know when to pick it up and when not to. I guess if someone has to be such a loser as to have to go this route for a job, they can waste their time. . .at least they aren't wasting my cell phone minutes!!
I'm sorry if my typing or spelling is sloppy, typing and feeding a baby is a hard thing to do at the same time. We have recieved calls from this number and also the 740 number. I contacted the Nowata County Sher. Dept. It is an auto and id scam, and the FBI is involved. These people get vehicle info, and personal info, and they've had cars stolen and sold for parts, and then they use your id info. I contated my brother who is a federal agent, and had him report my cases. They will keep me up to date. This morning when they called, I let her know that 24 times we've been called and 24 times I've told them we don't have a car we take a Taxi. That 24 times I've told them to remove our number from their list. I then informed the woman thay I've contacted the police and the FBI. I asked to speak to a manager. She told me she was it, then said our number would be removed in 24 hours. We'll see. Even still everyone else contact the Federal Trade Commis., and your local FBI office. PROTECT YOURSELF!

I recieved a call on my government cell phone from the same number that you all have been getting calls from. Of all things A GOVERNMENT cell phone and as the communications manager I started investigating immediately. I called the company that Amanda has reported and left a message for the marketing manager to call me. At almost 8:30pm I recieved a call from the President of the company himself whom I talked to for a while while we verified what he was saying. Our findings from talking to him and our research was as follows; Steven D. Brown, Steve Brown Auto Sales, Steve Brown, and other alias's are fake names. The company that is using this ghost name and number is the telemarketing company Auto Solutions who uses dialers as well as other companies like Great Atlantic and Alliance, they all are 3rd party telemarketing companies. NONE of these are contracted nor do any work for Auto One Warranty Specialists. Some of the information that Amanda was given was incorrect. For the record, I do not doubt her word only the information she was given. The president of the warranty company is looking into that now. The case has now been given to the FBI, FCC, and FTC to be investigated. I have government phone records as proof as well as these blogs that you all have taken time to report. Thank you and Being one of the many that keep getting these calls I will continue working on trying to get this stopped along with many other government entities so that we all can have peace at dinner and no more annoying and rude people calling and running up our phone bills.
I called the county sheriff and they said that they are taking the info and giving it to the FBI and FTC(Federal Trade Commission). This number is a scam and isn't even in Oklahoma, they are spoofing the number. My advice is if you are called, record the time and date and report it, but don't answer the call.
I also have been receiving numerous phone calls from this company for the past few months. A few weeks ago, when I got a call again I pressed a number to speak to a representative and told him several times that I am not interested and I would like to not be contacted by them again. Throughout the entire conversation, he was ignoring everything I was saying and continued to attempt to make a sale. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he ignored my requests, responding with sales pitches. It was as if I was talking to a wall. I was furious. I eventually just hung up. I called the police to report them and was told that they could not do anything about it since the calls were coming from a different state.
