This call came at 7:46 a.m. this is ridiculous! WTF are they doing calling people early in the morning? This is the 10th call I've had from this number and there is never anyone there when I answer.

Received a call similar to others above regarding being selected by the government to receive a grant of $10,000. He kept asking me how I wanted it delivered as they could deliver it within 35 minutes. He asked how I wanted it delivered: bank account, credit card, debit card... I finally in response to his questions told him that I would rather he get a real job than keep trying to steal my money.

Got the call from the same number, it's from BFE (Oxford, NC), on a Sunday evening at 8:30pm. Definitely bogus scammers phising for the elderly to get SSN's and other info. Thanks to all for your posting. This is the way we get around these jerks. I wonder if they ever read this thread.

Received a unwanted call sounded he was from India, I hung up ,

This number has been calling for a few days now and leave a message for someone I have never heard of before. Just received a call again and now he says he's coming to my home or place of employment to deliver some sort of summons. I called the number back and it was disconnected. Obvious scam. I'm not even the person they are looking for.

Alabama; I also got a similary call twice, 8:30 P.M. July 29 and 4:45 P.M., July 30. Initial was a message that "paperwork is being readied to send in regard to a bill"; after receiving the call on the 29th, I decided to wait and see what it was about. After about 1 1/2 minutes, a male voice came on demanding to speak to an individual unknown to me. Told him there was no one at my number by that name-at that point, his demeanor changed to a point of DEMANDING to speak to the person he was trying to contact! At that point, I basically told him to p*ss off and not to bother me anymore!

I did not answer the call, but a msg was left to call 866-750-4733 because a "final decision was being made by their client regarding this case. A decision may be made contrary to what you expect. Call us back at 866-750-4733 to make sure no unwanted action is taken. Call us back as soon as this msg is received". The name they asked for isn't mine. I didn't call back.

This guy called me and said he was from the government and I was chosen to receive $9,000. Then he went to verify my address and after the fourth incorrect address he asked for mine and I said no.

Called and said he was calling from government in D.C. Went into spiel about being selected to get $9000. He wanted to know if I wanted money put in my bank account. Told him I wasn't interested and he began screaming at me saying I should have told him sooner and calling me a mother f---- and other things.
