A Jason Hayes from Bank of California called me from a North Carolina Number 9196926064 and gave me his personal number to call him back at 9164148398. I sent him $875 via 2 steam gift cards to pay for the taxes of a money transfer to my checking account for $8750
Robo caller saying IRS needs to settle lawsuit against me. Said I'm supposed to call different number and provide payment or risk jail. Lol! Called number robo caller said to call. Spoke with guy wanting to settle my account for $3500. Said to him I'll pay cash in person. Gave him address to meet me. I'm here waiting for someone to show up to get what they deserve. Lol! ....still waiting!
This number left a message on my phone.that says I'm going to be taken to court and I owe them money for a loan that I took out.and there going to serve me papers.i called the number back and its a loud noise.tired of being bug.i don't own any loan company.....
called me and said they were from california business profile and they created a web page for me. i am tired of these people doing this all the time. makes having a web page not worth the hassel.
Just got a call from this number but didn't answer....no message. The number of scam/telemarketing calls to my cell has increased by 200% over the last few months. I have gotten so sick of it I have been answering some of them and I answer as follows:"Fraud Department, your call is being recorded and traced, how may I help you?" They usually hang up before I finish and some have not called again. Before that I had been screaming as loud as I could into the phone when I answered. I am open to any other suggestions to stop these calls, especially the ones that call repetitively.
Got the same call as others...an automated woman's voice says that my Bank of America card needs to be reactivated, etc etc. Scammers for sure. I don't own any Bank of America cards!
Called saying they were from Bank of America and that my debit card had been suspended ( I have NEVER had a checking/debit account with B of A) and press one to re-activate. I hung up, but who knows what information I would have been asked for ... Also, they're getting "sophisticated", it was a computer generated message.
These guys are related to (919) 692-6062.. Look at the RECENT reports..1. A handful of calls about a debit card being deactived and wanting you to press a number which once any number is pressed they want you to enter your debit card number then verify by entering your pin number. If you are really gullible and make it past the second set of "press a number" they will ask you to enter your bank account number that the debit card is from. -BAM- Hook, line and sinker, they have all your info to either place a fraudulent loan into you account so they can start to grab "payments" or simply drain your bank account entirely.2. They are calling to inform you some entity is filing a case against you and unless you contact them at another number to speak with a "representative" (probably the same "representative" that's taking down the debit card, pin number and bank account number for the other set of calls) to resolve the issue. Should you call and speak to the "representative" they will more than likely request your bank account number so they can take the payment automatically or send a cashier's check or money order. They have also been known to request a credit card number if available.Don't fall for it...
