Not necessarily - it could mean there is a problem with your service or something to that effect.

It's Almighty Duke Energy Progress alerting you to either pay up or have your service shut off. Too bad they are less concerned about coal ash dumping in the Dan River and elsewhere.

Didn't answer the call, they left a voicemail, automated recording. Was just letting me know my transfer of service from one address to another had been completed successfully.

this number is also used to let you know an order has been completed I work for duke

I was called alerting me that it could be a fraud issue.... not to give any info out...cause duke power has several payment options.... please be careful.... Duke Power keeping me in the loop?thanks,Virginia

Duke Progress Energy utility company. Better off to answer! Recorded message that your bill is past due! I thought I paid it and was grateful for the courtesy call. If you ignore it, the bill is still due and you will receive a cut-off notice in the next three days. I stayed on the line, paid the bill and no one ever called back. Still received the cut-off notice, but I knew it had been paid and had a confirmation number. Just pay your bill and they won't call! Lol!!!

That's Duke Energy. They are cutting my power off on Friday if I can't get the $$$ to pay them. There's a cost for not having money and now you know what it is.
