Listen to the robo call here. It's very clearly a cut and paste message, "the voice" is acually the voice of multiple other female pre-recorded messages edited together. This is obviously the work of some amateur, credit card scammer. But having established that, I'm not certain how they are benefiting from this scam. I never even get to the point where any info is exchanged, its almost as if the whole point is to waste the 1 minute it takes for the message to cycle. If I wait on the line, they hang up. If I press "1" like they say, they hang up. If I call back, its a full voice mail. So, even though it's clearly not a legitimate operation, I don't see where they are phishing any of my info! From what I can figure out, it is just some people spoofing some number, (because the number apparently belongs to some poor people on LinkedIn) and propagating this fake message. I can only imagine they are just doing it to see if they can do it. This may be biased, as I've never got a live human on the other side.I've alerted the FCC and the Massachusetts Attorney General, but we'll see what happens. I haven't been able to get a live person like some have said, I would like to screw with the person. I pressed "1" and....nothing. How are you people getting a live person?

I have received calls from this number on multiple occasions, both at home and on my cell. They have a "press 1 now" option to speak to someone, and sometimes a "press 3 now" to supposedly have your number removed from their list. It hasn't worked. Plus, every time I have pressed 1 to actually ask them to remove my number, because I have no credit card, they have disconnected the call before I can tell them that.
Called my cell, cell has Verizon service, am on do not call list for both home and cell numbers...sigh
I have also received numerous calls from this #, both on my cell & at home. I pressed 1 to tell them to stop calling me. it does not work.

called and then hung up, left him a kurt voicemail about wasting peoples time. scammers are prevalent, be careful and don't answer this call
