Im on the do not call list. I received this call during work. Answered and connected to a guy on the other end. I asked him what account was in default that needed my immediate attention, he said " your visa or mastercard account". I said that i need to know which account was in default and he hung up. I call back and it gives me a message for "services". This is a scam and it is using my cellphone minutes which I pay for. I thought this was Illegal?? I contacted Verizon Wireless about these calls and they were useless! I Block one number and I get a call from another. Who is this company?

I haven't got enough time left TO LIVE to report all these calls!!!! That "report" is a royal PAIN!!

The do not call list is useless... I believe the US courts ruled that telemarketers have a right to call you. That ruling negates the effectiveness of the do not call list. The people calling in this scenario are most likely scammers looking for financial information. There are android (and I assume I-phone) apps you can get that will block unwanted numbers from calling you. The spammers will change their number - Answering a call or calling it back validates your number making it worth more and thereby garnering 10 times more phone spam. There is nothing you can do but post on these sites so other people know to block the number. I never get hit with the same number twice...but that is because I block the numbers.

These calls are very annoying, I have asked them to stop, but they still call.

As aggravating as it is... The do not call list no longer works as it was ruled unconstitutional. Never call the numbers back because it validates your phone number as belonging to a person. You can only report and continue to block. The company is illegal but until they are caught and shut down...they will continue to try and scam as many people as they can. As far as your minutes go - I agree with you but that will never change...cell companies will never help you because it's not their problem.

They keep calling, even though I am on thr do not call list.

This is continuous, for the last 2 years. Already 7 calls this year. A different number each time they call. The message says "press 2 to opt out" but they continue to call anyway. If you press 1 "to talk to an operator" they're rude and if you ask them to stop calling they simply hang up. I've reported these calls for 2 years to the DO NOT CALL registery, and have been reporting them to the FCC, to no avail.

Been getting several calls a week from this number, all about lowering my credit card interest rate. It is an automated message, asking you to hit 1 to speak to someone.
