i constantly receive calls from these idiots, at all time of day. i have called back and told them i am on the do not call list, and they hang up on me.
This is a scam and I'm being bombarded by these calls. They are from registered Cell phones so please call your local police department and report this number so they can trace it and take action. PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND DON'T PROVIDE YOUR INFO AS THIS IS A CRIMINAL SCAM...
Just received a call from 920-602-0879. Didn't answer, but appreciate suggestions here. I'm going to keep track of these numbers that come in.
I get these calls now and then to my cell and they are never from the same number. This time I pressed "1" and asked that they remove my number. The dude on the other end started singing......he needs to find a new line of work. I reported the number to the FTC do not call site at the link listed previously and will continue to do so until the calls stop.
The called asking to 'lower my credit card bill.' I don't have any credit cards and they refuse to answer questions when they call. This sounds like a scam and should be stopped. On top of this, I am on the national do not call list.
These calls are scams, the equivalent of sending you an email asking you to send them your passwords and social security number. You'd never think about replying to those, so treat this call the same way. They are NOT regulated by anything such as the Do Not Call List because THEY ARE NOT VALID BUSINESSES. Complaining that you're on the DNCL or threatening them or arguing with them won't matter because there is no recourse. The calls come from an automated machine that cold calls people trying to dupe them into giving out their credit card information. Don't try to Push 1 to talk to a rep and expect to get anywhere except maybe your identity stolen and your CC charged for god knows what. If you're bored and want to get some satisfaction, Push 1 and keep them on the line as long as you can. This will prevent them from calling other people, and whoever employs these scumbags will see that Jane Scammer spent 5 hours on the phone that day but completed 0 scams - reducing the overall profitability and hopefully making it less likely for the scam to continue.
Keep calling at ungodly hours. Saved in phone and under options sent directly to voicemail. I get these calls now like my number is listed for scammers. Go to work losers.
Or you could send the numbers directly to voicemail, so it doesn't even ring. If they want to leave a voicemail, let them. At least it doesn't ring and bother you if you have added the number to a "do not answer" list in your contacts already.
