Yeah, just don't pick up the unknown #s. Real people leave real msgs when they really want u.
Many of these calls come from a randomly generated call list. Even so, if your number is on the DO NOT CALL list it does not guarantee anything as many companies choose not to follow that list. It may or may not be required to follow the list but again companies can have there own little inside secrets.
I've been reporting to "donotcall.gov" for years. The idiots we know are calling are never prosecuted for harassment and the scammers, credit card companies, telemarketers, and POLITICIANS continue to call. Just another example of wasted government resources and taxpayer time and money.
What losers these people are, I called form a land line and complained about the calls. They said they would take me off the list but hung up on me before I say anything else.
Got a call today 9:28 am central time with a robot telling me I can save interest on my credit card. I don't have ANY credit cards.
Have told these people at least 5 times to quit calling. Tonight, I asked them what company they were and they hung up on me!

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
