I have missed a payment, and have retained a lawyer to claim bankruptcy. They call 3 times a day, no message, I want to give them my lawyers phone # , but Oh well. I will ignore from now on as no one answers. 2 of my other creditors called, and I gave them my attorneys #, and they stopped bothering me. you'd think they would want information if they are calling you
FINALLY--someone with common sense posts a comment!Yes, this organization is legit. They are connected to several loan-type places and also online stores that offer in-house financing. You might have a line of credit with a retailer like Fingerhut, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, etc--but their "banking" goes through Synchrony. This is why most of you aren't recognizing the name or number.Bottom line is--answer those calls to find out what's going on. Ignoring them will not make them stop!It takes less time to answer the phone to find out who they are and what they want than it does to Google the number, find this website and post a rant.
They have a wrong number. They keep asking for some other person. I cant get a person to tell them this is a wrong number. Started calling twice a day, now calling six times daily.

We really appreciate everything everyone has said. We find ourselves in this miserable loop now where we are receiving calls daily from Synchrony (formerly GE). We were assessed a late fee. I called the number on the bill and spoke to someone who said she was going to note on our account that the bill would be paid by phone in a few days and at that time the late fee would go away. She said the late fee will go away once you pay on the account. We will see. My husband is going to speak with the retailer, a tire company, about the creditor. I am sure they have had these complaints before, but it will make him fee better to speak with the retailer, who has been great at providing service. We may continue to use them, but without the credit card and the credit card nightmare. We have one other account that Synchrony has taken over. Both these accounts will be paid in full by the end of the year and there will be no further need to deal with these unscrupulous scoundrels.
Care Credit. I, unfortunately, thought this company was a legitimate source to help me with veterinary bills. Today, 8:56 am I received my 12th phone call in two weeks. Last week I spoke with one of their representatives and was told I was being assessed a late fee because I was paying more than the required montly payment and I was paying it too early and consequently confusing their computers! Are they freakin kidding me?I asked that they stop calling. They still call.I explained that in addition to them being a nuisance, I am an eighty year old fighting cancer and the effects of radiation and chemo treatment and cannot deal with this stupidity. The Federal Do Not Call list does not seem to apply to these morons!
Our 1 year, interest free loan was approved by Care Credit. The loan was opened in January, 2015 and we started making payments above the monthly requirement. India is calling for GE Money because they haven't received our February payment. It was sent a week before it was due and in excess of the required amount. Every other check sent that day has cleared. They either lost it or held off processing it until it was late. They wanted me to make a minimum payment over the phone. They are calling from multiple states and numbers, on Sunday and after legal hours. I will call Care Credit tomorrow. Based on what others are saying, I will also tell my dentist to NEVER offer Care Credit information to another patient! Like is said, If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is a scam.
