Called me but left no message. Its called Voicemail. With recent scams in the news about scam calls from the Carribbean numbers, if I don't know the number, I don't answer the phone call. period. If you show up on my phone as call blocked or Unknown, well forgettabbout it
They're based out of South Dakota which has no usuary laws so G.E. Capital can charge as much interest they want. Not only should one not do business with G.E. Money or Credit Care you should not do any business with any financial institution based out of South Dakota. A lot of banks are based out of South Dakota because of no usuary laws. Beware of South Dakota.
After reading your posting, it strange how this company is doing this to everyone. Matter of fact I was told that my bill was return to them because of the wrong address. Once I receive the bill there was a charge of $27.00 to activate credit. This company need to be put out of business. I would never let no business suggest I use GE to obtain credit. If you are smart think hard and do not use these people if you need credit. You definite going to be sorry. I would suggest you go else where. Money hunger using anyone through business. Don't be fool through these business who suggest they can help you get credit.
It's GE Money which will screw you over if you let them...they finance living spaces and they closed my account without notice...I have one more account with them that I owe money on but now it's my turn to screw them over...hahahaha!
Constant calls all day while I am at work. I thought they were not allowed to call you on your job.
You can file a formal complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau: 855-237-2392 P.O. Box 4503 Iowa City, Iowa 52244. It's a federal agency so it may take a while to get things going. Filing a complaint with your state Attorney General is also a way to go. I agree G.E. Capital should be shut down.
I needed some dental work done that I did not have cash in hand for. Sears Dental recommended me to Care Credit - run by GE Capital Retail Bank. The monthly payment date was fixed at an inconvenient time for me. I made my first payment of $200 a few days late and incurred a late fee of $25. The monthly charge was about $67 - so my first payment was close to 3 months' payments. Next month I sent 200 more and again incurred a late fee - this time $35 plus a $2 fee that is not all clear to me. I called and got to a supervisor who backed out the additional charges and changed my payment due date to a more convenient day of the month. Then, I paid the remaining balance, ahead of the assigned payment date. Today I got a call from this number informing me that I owe them $139. I demanded to speak to a supervisor and was denied. I have lodged a complaint with Sears Dental and will soon lodge a complaint with the AG of the State of Michigan. Additionally, I will inform corporate legal department of my employer so that other employees might be warned.
