Call to my cell phone. When I answered the call it was just dead silence so I disconnected. I called the number back and a voice recording said please wait on the line. There was no greeting identifying the company. I will be blocking this number on my cell.

This number will NOT STOP CALLING ME. When I do answer they don't respond.

Just got a call from them - pretty sure it's related to my purchase at P. C. Richards. Opened up a card so I can pay a month later. So far I have not received a statement from them and I'm pretty sure I probably will get hit with some fee. [***]'em, paying full balance and never dealing with both companies aagain

They have called time and time again, I do not recognize the number and so I do not answer. They do NOT leave a message, but they DO continue to call - at least 5 or 6 times a day!! This is getting extremely annoying!!! I do not have any bills that are in collection, so there is NO reason for them to continue to call me!

i got a lawn mower loan and the ge capital called me from the same number of the hardware store i bought it from called the number of the store they said they didnt know who called me

They call morning , noon and night 7 days a week.

Hey, you guys have the right to stop this harassment. YOU MUST call your carrier and set up a way to track the harassment. Even if you owe money, they cannot make those frequent calls, and many of you have them documented. Owing money does not give them the right to tie up your cell phone line or disrupt your work/job/business line.TELL your carrier that you are getting out of country calls and you FEEL that they are dealing with ILLEGAL activity. I know, we can all just ignore the calls, but if we all complain collectively, perhaps they will have to disappear or face federal concerns. Some of you have cell phones with voicemail. You can record the greeting for "busy or not answered calls" to an announcement -- any announcement - such as this call is being traced and reported to the Department of Homeland Security (and leave a long pause after the message). (Mine says that my phoneline does not accept blocked or annon calls.)I have also set my cellphone to only accept calls when I press a button to accept the call. When I get blocked numbers or crap like GE Money, then I press the REJECT and it goes to the busy message. All other messages that ring and are not rejected just go to my regular voicemail. And of course - sites like these really help, where it is consumers helping consumers. Since you know who these crap calls are coming from, you don't have to waste your cell phone minutes answering the calls and you get ideas on how to stop the harassment.

GE Money Bank started calling months ago. 99.999% of their cals are "UNKNOWN NUMBER" or "BLOCKED CALLER" type calls. Since they are the only caller caling my phone in this manner I "Ignore' all of their calls. One day, when I was particularly annoyed, I answered. Hodgie said he was calling from GE Money Bank. I said I had no dealings with GE nothing, and wanted an address and phone number. That's when Hodgie said he was in India. India! I have no dealings with India anything. No loans, no credit, no nothing. I became extremely annoyed when Hodgie began calling several times a day for months. Finally I told him that if he would come to my house we could settle this up right away. I told him I would do him like he does his goat. I asked him if he wanted to buy some plutonium or uranium, if he was a terrorist and was soliciting money for terrorist acts. I asked if he wanterd to speak to the CIA or FBI. He became very agitated. So, now, if and when I see that it is him calling (only one ever calling unkown etc) I answer and give a line of [***]. Or, I have someone esle answer. It is my opinion that these 'people' are scammers atempting to get US funds for terrorist activities. PLease post their calls and list them this wat too. Then, when numerous calls are entered for their scam, it will be easy to see they are terrorist. Follow me?
