The Scarborough survey call are made daily. At least 10 to 15 times. I have answered and have told them they have been reported to FCC but they still call . this is a nusences/
Our answering machine received the call. Supposedly Scarborough Research wanting to know viewing habits.
This company has called numerous times. I completed one survey for them that I thought was a bit intrusive. As a researcher, I understand the need for public input. Scarborough RSC is a lot like Google because they are constantly amassing data on you. Every time you answer the phone, every site you visit on the web, every opinion you give: all this data goes into databases. Based on behavioral algorithms, this data is massaged to build a profile of a person's likes, habits, and weaknesses. Then, you are inundated with advertisements and pressure calls to donate to, buy, or participate in activities that are very questionable. If you do not know the caller AND trust the caller, do not answer the call. Get an call blocker (like Sentry Version 2) from Amazon or wheresoever. Block every caller that you do not know. These devices are very effective in keeping the riff-raff out of your life. Scammers, telemarketers, and idiots abound today.
