PHONE NUMBER BELONGS TO AN INTERNET COMPANY CALLED DIGITAL RIVER WHO DEAL WITH INTERNET SECURITY SUITE PURCHASES
Unwanted calls for weeks just leaving message to 'call back'...not saying who they were. Now we get a charge for $49.99 that my credit card company has linked to that phone number.
i am from canada but traveling in new zealand, i have been charged 30.23$ twice on my credit card. my phone is disconnected so i dont know how they scammed me
My credit card was billed $29.99 by Computer Associates for an anti-virus program I bought 2 or 3 years ago. It was on auto-renew. I called the number 952-908-4089 and asked the customer service representative to cancel the program. He said he would run a credit to my credit card. He did NOT ask me for my social security number or credit card number.
I was charge $49.99 on my credit card. Called credit card company and they said there was another $49.99 being charged to my card from the same outfit. I cancel my card and had a new card issued. I called the number 952-908-4089 was on hold for 35 minutes. Appears they a have a good scam going. I think a outfit like this should be tar and feathered and run out of town on rail.
Digital River does the billing for many legitimate software companies. Did you buy any software online or download anything?

Call received at 09:43 a.m. on Wednesday, 18 December 2024. No caller identifier was given, so I let the answering machine pick up. No message was left. The call originated in Calgary, AB.
