Based in the UK... just got another fax from these people. They have some serious cheek. It ended with "PS (Name) we haven't heard from you yet at (our company's name). Jokers. this is from Don Gatewood VP and cc Steve Watson MD. haha

Kelly if you really are serious about purchasing a company, wouldn't you at least know who the owners of the company are? The fax my company received was to my attention, it is laughable because I am so far being a corporate officer, or investor, or even related to the family who it is named after. So this is a waste of time and I wouldn't dare bother someone in actual authority to look at it. As a former collector I believe in being thorough so I googled the information and landed here. Sorry but if you are really serious you better do your homework first.

Linda Rather/NY Associates on behalf of their client, Jim Evans, "one of America's wealthiest individuals" interested in purchasing all or a portion of our company. Deals in companies between $5M-$500M. Wants a phone appt with Steve Watson, Managing Director – 954-586-1000. I find a lot of scam calls come from area code 954. I know to let call go to voicemail and if important or bold, they leave a message and it's up to me to decide which. Think about it...if they didn't even know my CEO's name, how in the world could they be interested in purchasing our company. No M&A company fails to do due diligence. Harumph! A waste of time.

Received a fax message today from New York Associates about "Jim Athans' desire to purchase all or part of" our business, and imploring "Would it not be sensible to at least discuss it?" Right, we'll get on it. You morons sent this to a public school district. Made for a good laugh today.

A Marie Wrathers called me not a Kelly regarding Cline James of NY Associates. They want to buy our company. Gave me two different numbers to call and I could tell it was a call center/telemarketer. I see that Kelly has written above but can't spell correctly. 917-341-2087 and 954-586-1000. Marie or Kelly whatever you claim your name to be. All of us here own a piece of the pie here. Get Lost.

Received a fax today from a John McLaren (fax # 954-582-5090) asking for a person who no longer works here. You would think the billion dollar private investor would have done their research. Also, they cut off the bottom section of our company name. They must be trying to save paper. According to Google, there are 963 billionaires in the world. Pick one. I'm pretty sure none of them wants to buy our company.
