A lady with accent identified herself as Kelly Rather who works for Steve Watson from NY Private Equity. She said he was calling my boss on behalf of Jim Athens who wants to purchase our company. I assumed it was a scam because they said my bosses name wrong. Thank goodness for Google and sites like this! I hate this stuff!
I have read all the comments about kelly and it made me smile becausec i know about 800 notes also. I am kelly and I have been very nice and courteous to you all. However the bottom line is your boss the CEO is the one to make financial decisions for the company so its your company"s lost if you didn"t went ahead and pass on that msg. If you secretary"s want to start making decisions for your company I advise you to go and start your own company. For your information our company is legit and we have been able to close a number of deals with other companies. If your ignorance is keeping your company from moving forward here is a little help the name of the individual who is intrested in buying the company is Jim Athans and our website is www.nyassoc.com.

This number keeps calling me. The message they leave is like a clicking sound. No one speaks. Very odd. I’m blocking this number

My calls were being forwarded to this number and I have no idea how it happened.
They hung up. In the last ten days I've had unauthorized credit card charges and an identity theft related to a Medicare fraud case. I suspect this is related.
