You are correct sir. It was Stonebridge calling customers of JCPenny.

As a Jcp employee it is not our fault that you are getting these calls. Call GE, they are who you have a credit card through. I have been receiving these calls too, just answer and say to remove your number. It's no big deal. No need to be rude to the callers or to jcpenney employees. Be happy in your life and dont try to make others miserable.

This company keeps calling and it is annoying. I told a representative that we did not want any calls from them ever....about 3 years ago. We have been on the "Do Not Call" list since the beginning. Two nights ago I answered the call and the person (a woman) on the phone argued with me, was very rude, and hung up on me while I was in mid-sentence. This is a company I do not plan to do business with ever. JC Penney should take note. Many people are ticked off about the annoying practice of a company they are associated with.

I just don't get it...if they're trying to market something to people, why hang up when you answer? We've gotten than numerous times. The other day, I went to pick up to ask to be removed, and got a "all our agents are busy, please call back later" message...I kid you not.So, they call yesterday, the woman says "How are you this evening Mr. Ponderous?"I say "fine, can I please be removed from this calling list?"Then she turns downright smarmy, reading from their "we'll remove you but it might take 30 days" script. I mean, her attitude was just amazing. I've had rude telemarketers call, but nothing so spiteful and full of hate, yet trying to drip sarcasm and sweetness.It's amazing that Penny's hasn't heard of this, or if they have, haven't done anything.

THE NUMBER 954 IS THE AREA CODE FOR FLORIDA AND I HAVE BEEN GETTING LIKE 6 TO 7 CALLS A DAY AND KEEP HANGING UP. THE ADDRESS TO THE COMPANY IS 2827 WASHINGTON ST., HOLLYWOOD, FL 33020 STONEBRIDGE LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY. GOT TIRED AND STARTED LOOKING ON THE INTERNET

The last straw was when I got a call last night at 10:30pm! I called 964-926-5876 and requested that they put me on their No Call list. The person I talked to (who must live in Honduras or someplace!) said it would take 30 days for this to take affect. Also requested that no more mail solicitation be sent to me...will see if all this comes about....

These people used to call and the caller ID said Stonbridge Life... but I never answered, now I keep getting calls from Unknown Name 954-926-5876... I dont have nor have I ever had a JCP card... It is incredibly annoying.
