I got a call from this number 954-926-5876. It is Stonebridge Life Ins. They asked for my husband, I said He wasn't home, They said they would try back later. Umm, ok? If they were selling something, they would try to sell to anyone who answered, Right? I DO have a JCP card, and have for over 20 yrs, my husband has never been on my JCP card so why would they only want to talk to HIM?His Mom died last year. And SHE had a JCP card, too.So I called the 800number someone here gave. NICE man answered, we had a good conversation.He says if it doesn't end up to be a call about my husband being a beneficiary, then we can request to be put on the Do Not Call List.. he made the suggestion.I just think its a lot of how you handle the situation.
They hung up after two rings, no one was on the phone when I picked it up. Had *69, checked out number to find out who they were.
They have called 5 times within the last 3 days...I have answered and told them to not call this number again. They just keep calling....
Am getting 2-4 calls a day from these guys. I answered once to tell them to remove my number from their list & the caller disconnected when I said hello.
Fyi... JC Penney doesn't sell your info to these people. They are partnered with them. It's not a useless company (as a previous writer stated). I had their life insurance in the past. It's credited to your JCP account, which was quite handy.
