Received a call on my cell phone today from "Lyle". Immediately hung up. The prison (if that is where this is) needs to monitor phone activity. Also, I do take some comfort from the fact that "Lyle" is exactly where he needs to be -- in prison.
I just called Mr. Hall. He was very nice and blocked my number from all calls from the Richmond City Jail. He checks your number first to see if the call is indeed originating from the jail and then blocks it if it is. You don't even have to give your name.
ODD I am in Nueces County TX.... This call came at 2:23 AM on my cell. Didnt answer because #1 they woke me up out of a dead sleep #2 it came up as Dallas,TX. They did leave a voice mail. Alls I caught was "........jail. If you accept this call it will be 9.99 for 15 minutes of talk time".... It was 17 seconds long.
I am constantly getting these. Kyle aaron claims he is in winnebago county jail. Sounds like scam/
I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone. An automated voice message tells me I get 15 minutes of wireless time for $9.99. It's totally out of hand, and needs to stop. Whoever is responsible for this should be put in jail. STOP CALLING MY CELL PHONE!
They have called me 7 times, all with no voicemail. It says it's from Dallas, TX but I don't think I know anyone that would call from there since I'm from IN. When I called back it said it was PCS and asked if I was calling about my own number and that's as far as it would go. I have no idea who this is, but 7 calls is kind of concerning me. Any one know anything???
A business is receiving unwanted collect calls from (972)280-7286. Individual will not state name, male caller says, "just hear me out", "it's an emergency call," "heard your news," "it's about a 2006 case," "need help." This business has received 11 calls with 30 minutes. When prompted to select a specific number
I get calls from this number, my boyfriend is in Nueces Co jail. It's obviously a Dallas number though, not sure why. FYI, it can take several days for an inmate to set up their own phone account. If they don't have money, they can't set one up at all. My boyfriend was able to use another inmates phone ID to call me. Since the account owner records their name when setting up the account, it can't be changed if they are letting someone else use it. So the call could be from someone you know, using someone else's account. Also, the $9.99 fee is only when they are in the holding cell. It can take a few days for them to get housed and near a regular phone, which is about $1 for 3-4 minutes.
