Will you accept this call? No, I hung up the phone. I called a few possible relatives/friends everyone was a counted for --checked the Wharton County Jail records -- I typed in several different names -- none of my relatives or friends. Watch out might be a scam!

When this number calls it's from a correctional facility. It will first call and say an offender would like to add your number to their call list. Then depending on the correctional facility the same number will appear when the person calls you back. It's either a prepaid debit on their account or you would have to put money on your phone to accept the call. This number is one of the main numbers routed through GTL . Global Tel Link, a company that the inmates have to call through. It's a woman on the recording and you can decline the calls. It will first ask you if you are the person responsible for the phone you press one then I will ask you for your name you then record it then I says do you accept to be added to the phone list if you can accept or deny. Sometimes you have to listen hard for the name or you don't hear the name this is because it's a recording on there into that says state your name depending on how loud it is there they can't even here until it beeps once they've made that that is now how they will call out. Unfortunately depending on the location where you are if you try to return the call it may transfer you through to a Spam number it all depends on how your phone service routes. The number will call you for your acceptance or denial so that the inmate can reach you ( which is normally 2-3 days). If the inmate takes your number back out of the phone list because you haven't accepted it and puts it back in then it will recontact you. If you continue to get phone calls from GTL you can call GTL directly at 18004838314 and talk to an actual person. Hope this helps

got a call around 10:50pm on 7/30/12. didnt answer it, but they left a voicemail in spanish then in english said "inmate in washoe county" idk anybody in jail, i do have family in reno but they are NOT IN JAIL. NEXT TIME THEY CALL I WILL ANSWER AND SEE WHATS UP
