My brothers kid is in jail in Michigan but when he make calls to me it for this Texas number 972-798-0395. It's the company that they use for payment. that's why it's a Texas number
This is a call from a prisoner somewhere in Michigan but it says Texas do u don't track it. I know this because I know someone in prison (a cousin).
I work at mdoc and a friend told me she was getting this number as well definately put a block on the number
The Michigan Department of Corrections has a phone carrier just like we all do that handles all of the outgoing calls from prisoners. The company monitors such calls etc. The Texas area code is only because all Michigan corrections calls are routed through their carrier in Texas. I have a family member incarcerated in Michigan and all of his calls come from this number.
Very good friend calls from this number... The last 4 digits change..he is in a Michigan facility... Have no idea why it says texas... I didnt answer a couple times thinking it was a telemarketer

Claims to be from a roofing team. Somehow knows real name and city. I keep getting texts like this from different numbers, they stop responding when I ask how they have my number.
