Received a call from this number and the woman told me that I had been approved for an auto loan. I told her I didn't apply for an auto loan and she hung up on me.
I got this call last night around 7:30 PM. It was a man who asked for me and told me he was calling about an auto loan I had applied for on line. I asked him for the name of his company 3 times and everytime he said something the phone line faded out and I couldn't hear him (conveniently faded out I'm sure). After the third time I told him I know this is a scam because I would never apply for an auto loan on line. Before I could even finish the sentence he hung up on me. So obviously this is a scam. I too also tried to call the number on my caller ID and got a message that it could not be connected as dialed.
I received a call tonite-May 6, 2009 at 9:42 p.m. Didn't recongize the number when I answered the phone it started ringing like I had made a call. Someone picked up the line and hung up. Tried to call back operator said number could not be completed as dialed please hang up and try your call again.
I got two calls from this number today...didn't answer and no message was left. When they called again a few minutes ago I answered and they hung up. 982 is not a real area code...I checked online and the phone book. It is used by telemarketers and solicitors. Does anyone know the cell phone do not call list number? Will it even help?
I just got a call as well.....did not answer, they did not leave a message. I do have a number for a do not call list. 1-888-382-1222. Hope that helps!
I got a call from this number @ 10:16 PM . A man asked for me and when I kept saying hello he hung up. Tried to call it back and said that it had been disconnected.
Call recieved at 7:28PM. I don't answer unidentified numbers after 5PM, and there was no message left.
