My Bf and I both get this call. It's a Spanish-speaking recording. We get them ALL the time, at all times of the day and night, and many per day. It started about 3 yrs ago when we bought our Verizon phones in California, an "831" area code. We assumed that we received these calls BC our #'s are from California and the calls were from Mexico or meant for Spanish-speaking Californians. We get so many of these calls, we had to think of some reason. Having a possible reason doesn't make it any less annoying though. Now that I've read that other people, outside of California get these calls we're doubting our theory. These jerks really need to be stopped. But who do we even call? Is this number even based in the U.S? I would guess it is because of the phone # itself, but it could be Mexican calls routed through an American 800 number. Most American calls give you the choice of pressing "1" for English and "2" for Spanish, but these people just assume we all speak Spanish. My Bf seems to think there is not much we can to to stop these callers BC of this......

Didn't answer and no message received, but sure looks like some sort of phone number database is being scrolled through this afternoon.

Just got a missed call from this number as well but no message was left...its really getting annoying especially the fact that they're calling Cell phones.

Missed the call, called back and got a recording saying it was disconnected.

Sad thing is, I never used to get these calls until I put my cell on the Do Not Call registry.

Received a call from this number at 11.45 am EST. No message was left.

Unknown caller-didn't answer. Obviously someone I don't know.It's so nice phone companies allow spoofing of phone numbers. :(
